Start new thread and User Interface

I have a dialog box with a progress bar and i want to fire off process
all one after the other. Each process may take a while so i want the
User Interface to be movable whilst this is going without it freezing,

Each process must complete before the other starts so i can just fire
them all off in one thread each.

ANy Ideas?
