smart phone or pocket pc???

Hi all,

I fancy developing a smart phone or pocket pc app. I'm currently a win-form
vb6/c# programmer. Is there much difference between win-form and mobile
development? ie do you just develop the app and then load onto a mobile
device, the same way you develop an app and install on a desk/laptop PC? or
is CE.NET or WM completely different to standard win-form programming?? As
you can tell I'm a complete novice at mobile development. Anybody know of
any good links that give you an introduction??

Thanks in advance.
