I just bought InstallAWARE Developer version and I am already thinking
to
move to the Studio version (and imagine that it wasn't on my plans to
buy an
installation tool...)! Although it is extremely "easy to use" and has a
very
nice user interface, it is powerful, with many capabilities that you
can't
find in any other installation tool with such a low price and a great
flexibility. You can create patches, customize the setup with the
features
dialog, create registry entries, shortcuts and file associations. You
can
use the pre-installed Dialogs or create your own and even add animation
or
sound during the installation progress to introduce your app to the
user!!!
It is very easy to manage SQL or ODBC connections and of course merged
modules. With InstallAWARE it is possible to create the most beautiful
installation interfaces that you can imagine. By using the included
Wizards
you can build your own installation for your app in just few minutes!
You
can even change the script code and add features or change the
installation
