Adding Primary Interop Assemblies to Visual Studio.Net

I've downloaded the Office XP PIA's from the MS download site, (OXXPIA.EXE)
and installed them using the register.bat file as instructed. They appear in
the \winnt\assembly folder, and in the registry (regedit search) as
predicted, but when I go into Visual Studio .Net, open a project, and try to
add a reference to any of the PIA's, they aren't in the list presented (.NET
or COM). Have tried gacutil as well, they install as many times as I try it,
but if I try to de-install (/u option), I'm informed that the PIA is not
installed! Am I missing something somewhere???

Any help welcome

Hugh
