CDO mail

i am able to successfully use CDO to sent mail to anyone (in network and out
of network) using an application on a windows 2000 machine with outlook.

when i copy the app to a windows 2003 machine, the application only sends
mail to in network folks. when i use an out of network recipient address,
the error i get is "The server rejected one or more recipient addresses.
the server response was: 550 5.7.1 unable to relay for
so*******@something.net

any ideas?

the windows 2003 machine has the files

cdonts.dll, cdosys.dll and cdo.dll on it. am i missing some?

Mark,

I also use CDO in a web and desktop apps. I had a issue with logon / log off
memory leak.

Microsoft response was "CDO 1.2.x is not supported in the .NET framework"

I know this doesn't help, but if you can use something else now is your
chance.

Cya,
Sean.
