Mic/Line-in Caputre in VB.NET (example)

Seems impossible to find any example in VB.NET that does Audio importing from
Mic/Line-in with the WaveIn... Apis in winmm.dll.

There are load of examples and source code for VB56 and C# but why no for
VB.NET ?

I'm new to this world (VB.NET) so convert VB56 or C# examples is not easy
for me..

MHjerpe,

You can use Direct X for that have a look at the SDK for that.

In that are some C# samples (in the samples DirectSound folder)

I hope this helps,

Seems a bit overhead to download a BIG directX SDK just to get a bit audio..
But sure is it simple to do with DirectX then I might have a look at it..

How is deplyoment affected when importing directx stuff to an .net app..
must my app include certian DX .dll's or is it enough that the end user have
direct-x runtimes installed ?
