Win32 dll in VS.Net doesn't recognize preprocessor directives

I created a simple win32 dll using MS Visual Studio 6.0.
Then I converted my project (dsp & dsw) to .net solution.
For that I opened it in Visual Studio .Net and the first time it shown me a
message box stating that the abc.dsp should be converted to VS .Net project
format. Selecting ‘Yes’ I converted it to VS .Net project format.

Now the problem with this project is I am not able to add any new
Preprocessor directives. Although it is recognizing previous ‘Preprocessor
directives’ but not the newly added one.

Any help in solving this problem will be appreciated.
