Indexing Service and Non-Admin User

I have a .NET C# application that uses the indexing service. It adds folders
to the catalog to be indexed, removes them, etc. Currently the application
requires the user be an admin user in order to perform the indexing service
functions.

Is there a way around this to allow a non-admin user to manipulate the
indexing service, i.e. include / remove folders to be indexed.
