Web Controls Not Rendering

I have installed a website on a Windows XP Professional machine running IIS 6.0

When I navigate to the website none of the web controls (i.e. textbox,
button) render on the page. There is no error in the event logs and I can
navigate to the website and see text and images on the page, just no asp.net
web controls.

Any ideas why this may be happening?

Thanks
