JIT Debugging component registration is incorrect

One of my fellow developers closed Visual Studio, re-opened the same project
and recieved this error "JIT Debugging component registration is incorrect".
This happens anytime he tries to open a recent project. I created a new,
simple project, build/run then close VS, reopen and all is fine. Now attempt
to open one of his projects and it gets the "JIT Debugging component
registration is incorrect". I have done some Googling without any real
assistance before coming here (outside of reinstallation of the framework).

Thanks for taking the time to read this,
Kevin

We decided to uninstall VS, in the process now (it's not a slow
process)...hopefully this will clear up the errors.

Has any Microsoft Moderator responded to this? I have a similar problem,
though with software developed by someone else.
