How to find cpu id

Hi
I want to find CPU ID through vb.net . can anybody tell me how to get this.

What would you do with it. It's pretty useless since you can disable
that number in the BIOS. I'm not even sure AMD processors have it. Or
are you talking about the identifier which tells you what kind of
processor it is?
