Session variable and authentication from a project to another

Hi all,

I am working on a web solution which have to be updated by many people. This
solution will be a backoffice tool for websites and will contains many
subprojects then I have created a "main" project which will contains sub
projects in a main project subfolder.

Only the main project contains a web.config and a global.asax and
subprojects well inherit of theses files (tested with an event in global.asax
and a added key and authentication type in the web.config).

The problems are :
- I am unable to transmit a session variable from a project to another.
- Forms authentication redirect users to the login page but these users
cannot be authenticated in subprojects.

I suppose these two issues are linked. Any idea ? :p

Thanks in advance,
