StackTrace and Obfuscation

I'm writing an application that will log any errors to a database. If the
error occured as a result of an exception being thrown, I store the stack
trace as well as other information about the application and environment.
My problem comes in when I finally finish the application and decide to
protect the intellectual property by means of an obfuscation tool of some
sort. Once the code has been obfuscated, none of the method names are
distinguishable and i'm left with a pretty useless stack trace.

Is there any way around this or are there other decent code protection tools
out there that will keep method names etc but still provide a high level of
protection on my code?

TIA,
Charles
