Response.Redirect and Thread Abort error

While i don't like it, i know that in ASP.NET Response.Redirect throws an
error by default. And i know you can make it not do so by passing the False
parameter, which doesn't cause ResponseEnd. And i believe that passing the
False parm leaves the page in memory so that the next page can get access to
public stuff on the original form (i think this is true; someone should
probably confirm)

Here's the question - if i use False, when does the page get garbage
collected? My concern is memory. i haven't seen any problems but i don't
trust things i don't understand and in this case i don't understand what
happens to the page (and thread) when the False parm is used
