Do you know LayerD technology? It'll be better than .NET?

I've read about a new free technology named "LayerD", and it's impresive
compared to .NET or Java, it's not only really multiplatform, with this
technology you can make programs in an object oriented paradigm and the
Aspect Oriented Paradigm (AOP), what is more you can make your own Semantics
Structures!! and it've RAD capabilities incorporated directly in the
compiler. Of course you can use multiple languages to program in this
technology, I recommend to visit this web site "http://layerd.net/eng" and
read the theoretical and practical guide about this technology. An please
after read it, make me a comment.

You say you've "read about" it - do you actually mean that you're part
of the company developing it? That's the way that the rest of your
article reads.

It's not impressive compared to anything until it's more than
vapourware.

Well, a WHOIS lookup tells me that the domain is owned by Alexis Ferreyra of
Cordoba, who uses an email address of alexisfar, which is pretty damn
similar to afar, the OP's chosen handle. So I think we can assume it's one
and the same person.

Alexis, lying about yourself tells us wonders about you. Couple that with
spamming and I can see that even if the technology wasn't vapourware I
wouldn't want to go near it with a 10 foot barge pole.

It's true that is a vapourware (in other words the website say this) but I've
recived a lot of spam about .NET from microsoft, and I think if microsoft do
that, we can be tolerant with this little technology vapourware.

PD: Sean Herd..: you've work lot for vapourware ???

I can't remember actually being spammed by Microsoft about .NET - at
least, nothing I hadn't signed up for. I certainly haven't signed up
for anything about LayerD. Even if MS had spammed me, it wouldn't
excuse someone else doing it too. It especially wouldn't excuse them
pretending they had "read about" the new technology as if they were an
impartial observer.

Eh?

Shall we discuss dishonesty instead? Let's see:
- Your timezone is the same as afer's
- Your posting host has the same IP as afer's
- Same version of newsreader
- The paths are almost identical

That's a lot of coincidences...

But I can't believe you, you say: it's nothing, and you reply and work, and
work and think....why? you're working for nothing!!

well it's OK.

Alexis, frankly, do you really want to play this game? For starters, if you
think some lame-assed insult like "you don't have any friends" is really
going to rile anyone, I think you're sadly mistaken. I've been insulted by
experts, this doesn't even cause the needle on the insult-o'-meter to
twitch. It also only works if the relevant target indeed doesn't have
friends, and I have plenty, thanks. Segueing into how much of a schmuck I am
for helping others probably also doesn't win many points on newsgroups,
which are dedicated to exactly that.

Can I give you a friendly heads-up? My advice would be to leave the
newsgroups for a while, at least until you've faded out of people's
memories. A month should do it. Come back with a new handle, and don't spam
the newsgroups about vapourware, and don't act dishonestly, and you'll find
that participation in the groups can be both fun and rewarding.
