MakeCall question with speech server

When I use the MakeCall function to make an outgoing phone call. The function
listens for a voice on the called phone before passing the process to the
next QA control on the page. Is there a way to shorten the interval or
cancelling (stopping) the listening and proceed to the QA Statement. In other
words I am trying to make a paging process where the speech program dials a
paging number in the phone system, plays a wave file and then hangs up. I can
do this but the MakeCall function waits to hear a voice on the other end of
the line and eventually plays the wave file after the default interval. I can
find no documentation on how to shorten or eliminate the interval between
when the call is connected and when the wave file is played by the next QA
statement. Can anyone suggest a way to get around this problem?
