Amazon movie collection from vs.net 2003

don
Is it possible to access the amazon movie collection via web services useing
visual studio.net 2003, framework 1.1 ? I'm writing a personal movie
database system using asp.net and would like to incorporate data update
features using the amazon web services such as those used in the vb.net 2005
movie collection starter kit?
