XML Comment warnings in the Task List for auto-generated code.

Hi guys!

In Visual Studio .NET, I like to enable auto-generation of XML documentation
on the project properties screen, by adding an XML file name under
"Configuration Properties" --> "Build" --> "XML Documentation File". This
way, I get warnings in the task list about public methods I have written that
do not have XML comments (launched by typing "///") associated with them.
This works really well, and I get a list of methods I still need to comment.

....until I come across auto-generated code! Say if I automatically create a
data set from a data adapter, I end up getting a load of warnings about
public methods associated with the data set not being commented. This is very
annoying, since my task list fills up with rubbish! There is no point
commenting the methods in the auto-generated code, since these comments
disappear every time the code is re-generated.

Is it possible to exclude auto-generated code from raising XML warnings?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help guys!

Cheers,

Steve.
