Is Anyone miffed by the New MSDN Subscription Model?

I am just curious if others are annoyed with Microsoft's new subscription
model? I recently upgraded my MSDN Universal expecting that would allow me
to get the latest 2005 version when it comes out. Well, it does upgrade, but
I have to choose an option: Team Architect, Team Developer or Team Test. Why
doesn't Universal which by it's very name implies everything not include all
of these variants? Why do we have all these variants? What happens when a
developer switches into an architect role or ? Further, why are there 5
subscription models? I think this many options just creates confusion.
Needless to say, I am not happy with new subscription model.

Ok, if you're as frustrated with the new model write a response...

242 voters so far, and if we're to try to get it through their heads that we
don't appreciate being treated like dirt, we'll need more than that.
