How do you click a button when you post data using HttpWebRequest

Hi,

I have a button named "button1" which i want to click when i post data to
the url containing it. In the posted data i have "<text fields being
filled.....>&button1=clicked" .....but this does not work .....the response
comes back with everything except the changes that clicking the button would
do?

Thanks.
