net framework

To run this application, you first must install one of the following of
the .net framwork: v1.1.4322 Contact your application publisher for
instructions about obtaining the appropriate version of the .net framework
what does that mean and how i go about uninstalling it or keep it from
poping up after i start pc. was it from the removal of microsoft java vm
does it have to do something with it.

Go to gotdotnet.com and download the version 1.1 .NET redistributable,
dotnetfx.exe if I remember its name right. Install that.

But the fact that you are posting here strongly suggests that you already
know that.

Why use a third party site when you can get it directly from the source?
(Beware of line wraps)

gotdotnet.com was what I could remember, and if I recall correctly, they in
fact redirect you to Microsoft for the download.
