I want to start a career in .Net programming.

How much valuable is the mcsd.net certification on the market place ?

let's say I am a competent programmer who work hard and passionnate, will I
have a hard time to find work or build a great career with that as my only
paper even if I am well rounded in asp.net, c#, sql etc ??

It various from country to country, the best bet is that if you can get the
certification, get it.It does not hurt and it will most certainly help when
employers look at you , not knowing how competent or passionate you are.

Hi Kelper

I think the value of the certification is very hiegh and depend on the
region in which you are working but we should pass the exam for the shake of
knowledge.Your knowledge will definitely improved passing the exam.This is
not my advice to you but this is what my heart says.

I am also preparing for that.
