Internet component download technology

Hello

I have an ASP.NET web application which is using some activex controls at
the client. We are using internet component donwload technology to download
these components. The website was not a secure site before and the
components are dowloading with out any issue on machines with correct
internet explorer settings for downloading activex controls. But recently we
swiched the site to versign certified secure site and now the internet
component download technology is not working. Is codebase work only with
HTTP. Or how can I make it work with HTTPS.

Thanks
Baiju
