ASP.NET - update only changed files?

Is there a way from VS.NET to update only changed files to a web server?

I'm looking for something similar to Dreamweaver's 'Synchronize Files'.
Frontpage also offers this capability via Frontpage Extensions. In VS.NET I
only see 'Copy Project...' which always copies every file, or using a
deployment project, which seems overkill and requires a file share to the
web server.

Essentially, I want to be able to work on a development copy of the site and
then push up only the changed files to the staging or production server.

Thanks.
