Hello, I have an application that sends a transaction across a Domain (on a
LAN) to another computer inside the domain that is functioning as a
Datastore. When the transaction is sent to the datastore it is always
successful, but 90% of the time the first 3 entries (Paramaters) are being
duplicated from the previous transactions.i.e.
InsertCommand.Text = "INSERT INTO Customers
Values(?,?,?,?,?,?,?,?,?............)"
Parameter(0).......
Parameter.Value= IDNumber
Parameter(1).......
Parameter.Value = CustomerAccountNumber.Text
Parameter(2)......
Parameter.Value = txtLastName.Text
etc.
etc.
etc (About 110 Parameters, Above example is not actual code just brief
idea to explain the problem)
when this command is wrapped in a transaction or simply sent to the
datastore. The querry is sucessful, but alot of the time the IDNumber will
be good, but the CustomerAccountNumber (Built on the fly) and the
txtLastName are being duplicated from the previous customer information. I
have noticed it is only happens to the first 3 or 4 fields. I am sure that
the form has different data but the database is showing (When I view it)
that there are multiple individuals with the same account number.
Could this have something to do with the network?
The network is using DHCP and the DSN for each computer on the network are
routed to the Datastore IP and the Domain Computer's IP.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Chuck
