is it possible to capture an insert event in an Oracle database?

I need to do some processing from my app after a row is inserted in an
Orcale db, how can i do that?

Best way is probably a trigger in the db.

Interesting that Oracle has announced CLR support in the Oracle 10g r2. you
will be able to write stored procs in VB or other .NET language. Not sure
if database triggers would also be covered by this. They announced it at
Oracle World in SF this past week.
