createCaret not working under .net

I am trying to create a block caret for a textbox using VB.NET , but it just
does not work. It however, works under VB6. Any idea?

For information, look to the
microsoft.public.dotnet.framework.windowsforms.con trols group. October 13th
post from David Leach titled "How to change Caret in textbox"

you can get it with a google-news search using "createCaret" and "vb.net"

The api dec, in traditional VB style, is here:

It didn't help. I couldn't find the suggested link. I know it works
under vb6, however , it doesn't under .net
