inherited project

I've inherited a project and need a little help with it. First of all, I
don't mind admitting I'm a very rookie .net developer.

I need to know how to take this project from one location and get it working
on my box. I copied the directory to c:\inetpub\wwwroot\ and setup an
application in IIS (5.0). However, I'm not sure what file I need to edit,
if I need to edit any, so that I can work on it on my box. Next, I'm not
sure what file I'm supposed to open. When I try to open the .sln, I get a
message that it's "unable to read the project file xxx. The system cannot
find the path specified". The file it's looking for is in the same
directory as the .sln file. If I try to open the .csproj file, I get the
message "unable to get the project file from the web server".

I have no idea where to go from here - any help would be greatly
appreciated!

Thanks in advance, Andre
