Deployment - launch conditions - installing prereqs

I've setup a launch condition that checks for MDAC 2.7 or greater. If not
found I use the InstallUrl property to provide a means to install MDAC2.8 off
of the install CD. This works fine, except that when MDAC finishes
installing, my original setup program doesn't automatically resume.

Is there a way to prevent deployment from being canceled when a launch
condition fires off a separate installer? I would like to be able to resume
the initial setup program after MDAC or the .NET framework is done
installing? Or is there a different way to accomplish my goal?

Thanks in advance for any help/suggestions.
