insert picture into document from research pane

Hi,

Is there a way to insert an image from the research pane into the
document? The insert button appears to work only for text--is there a
way around this?

Thanks!

Casey,

do you mean the Search pane? I have never encountered the Research Pane.
Please clarify.

The Research Pane is in Office 2003 (maybe it's sometimes called the
Research Task Pane). You can use it to query web services that you write.

To add a comment to my original post--I am writing a web services. I
can get images into the research pane itself, but i'd like to provide
functionality for users to get them from the pane into their documents
(e.g. an insert button). I dont' have a way to do this, currently--not
even copy and paste seems to work!

Thanks!

Hi Casey,

I don't think that is possible. But if you find a solution please let me
know.

Have you tried dragging & dropping the item onto the word document or
copy & pasting the object onto the doc. You can also try right clicking
& saving the object & then inserting it into the doc. Hope this helps
