smart card in vb.net

I am trying to read and write data from smart card in vb.net but the project
doesn't recognize the winscard.dll
i know that in vb6 there is no problem
does any body know how to do it in vb.net?

Did you add a reference to the dll under References/COM?

I did tried to add the "winscard.dll" which is working with the vb6 but the
..net doesn't ecxept it, mabye because it is a dll from 1997, but i can't find
other library or a soloution with the "winscard.dll"

I tried to add the dll from reference but the .net doesn't ecxept it maybe it
is a dll from 1997.
i can't find another library or a soulotion to work with this dll
