Recommendation

Hi,

I'm currently developing in Lotus Notes, but I want to move into the
microsoft environment.

The applications I mainly develop are for document management. ie storing
information such as licensing details, attaching documents etc.

Does microsoft provide a framework for this type of system? it must be
secure using logins with passwords using the web for local intranet.

Hey Dino,

You didn't have much of choice in your response, eh? ;-)

Actually, I can second that, SharePoint is a great tool although in some
areas not quite as sophisticated as Lotus Notes (I don't particularly like
Notes BTW, but it's mature).
