CE Emulator XP SP2 Problem

Hi,

I recently upgraded to anAMD64 3400 and installed XP SP2. Unpon trying to
run a smart application on the emulator, I recieved and error message:

"Emulator for Windows CE

One or more files from the Emulator for Windows CE installation is missing.
Please reinstall Emulator for Windows CE and try again."

I then when to this support article:

http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;883989

However the resolution offered by the article did not seem to apply. Upon
checking my boot.ini file I found NO /pae switch. Is there any other way to
disable PAE?

Are you running on an AThlon64?
Try disabling the antivirus feature of Athlon64.

Substitute the "/Execute" switch for "/NoExecute=AlwaysOff" in BOOT.INI
