.NET Development and WAV files

Hi,

I'm looking for a way to use .NET to load and edit wav files. I know
there's lots of Win 32 APIs for this stuff but I want to continue moving
forward, not backward. How do I do this?

We'll need to do pretty low level things like seek and edit all the
different chunks found in the wav format. I want to be able to find a chunk,
edit it's contents or delete it completely or add a completely new chunk.

We work primarily in VB.NET but C# would be ok too.

The solution could even include a .NET wrapper that does the interop or DLL
API calls; we just don't want to spend time educating ourselves on Win 32
tech that will probably soon be obsolete.

Thanks.
