it will once u minimize then reopen the form? I have notice this. I have one
panel ( color blue) on top of another panel (color red) .. the blue panel
will not show up when I run the program..only after I minimize the reopen
the window..Please help!!

Dayne,

Did you test this with a complete new form, I did and it showed exactly as I
expected.

A red panel on a blue panel (that was what I made)

If you have regular Panel controls then everything should work fine. If you
have a control based on the Panel control make sure you have your
ControlStyle set properly.

Are you performing any custom drawing? Maybe your graphics driver is not up
to date...
