calling SQL Stored Procedures / CRUD

Hello,
I'm looking for some guidance .
I'm new to VB.NET and SQL server, and have been working on a project for a
while.
I have been reading up on implementing CRUD operations using stored
procedures.
I have created my stored procedures, but I can't figure out how to call them
from VB.
Is there any good tutorials/walkthroughs that somone can suggest?
An example of how someone else has done this would be ideal.
Thanks in advance!
