C# to unmanaged C++ object interrface layer generation

Does anybody know if Microsoft has or is planning to provide a tool for
generating an interop layer for access to unmanaged C++ classes (similar to
the open source tool SWIG)?

Alternatively, is anybody aware of a Visual C++ 2003 compatible C++ lexer
that will create an abstract syntax tree that could be used for the input
mechanism to create such a tool?

Regards
Tim
