novice requires links

Hi all.

I have recently installed VB2005 so teach myself programming, could anyone
suggest any links to useful websites, or help sites, Ideally I am looking
for tutorials, written for the complete novice

These days the first thing a novice needs to learn is how to use
Google, the only 'trick' requires learning the terminology that applies
to finding the articles and documentation you need. Here's a starter
for you that is an absolute must...

Google: "asp.net"+"quick starts"
