Generate treeview in server manipulate treeview in client side

i tried with MS treeview control but i am unable to
implement all the requirements. This requiement like when
user login will generate the menu and display it.
After that we need to Add or remove the nodes from the
tree from client side.

1.Selected node should be highlighted and non active.
2.some group of pages related to same category
EX : registration process
Aggrement,userinformation,login information and
confirmation
when user select aggrement should be highlighted and non
active
when user click next it goes to userinformation...that
time aggrement node should be active and highlighted and
so on.

3.user selects node need to add childnode to the selected
node based on condition.
I need some really good links for TreeView
controls...especially tutorials aimed at TreeView beginners
( asp.net or javascript).

If I have a TreeView control on a form.....what code would
add multiple items to first Level of the Tree:

MainItem1
MainItem2
MainItem3
MainItem4

Then later, how would I add a sub item to MainItem3?

MainItem1
MainItem2
MainItem3
SubItem1
MainItem4
MainItem5

etc. etc.

Also deleting nodes, editing nodes....the whole shootin'
match!!!!!

VERY IMPORTANT:
=================

I should mention that if possible I want to represent the
Tree View control in MEMORY first.....and visually
second. Meaning...what you see in the Tree View control
is being filled in from a virtual representation that is
contained in memory.

After developing treeview control, i want to add node or
delete node based on node selection
this should happen in client side to avoid round trip.

Thanks
Ravi
