App Not Showing in Add/Remove Programs

I have written an app that is not showing up in add/remove programs and I
don't know how to uninstall it without the .msi. The purpose for the
uninstall is to install a newer version, but it keeps saying that the
application has already been installed and will not install again.

Any recommendations/links?

Hi,

if a app still looks installed for the os, then u must remove it by hand.
the mayor broblem u have, i guess so, is that u have to cleanup the
msi database and there is a application that microsoft provides to
do so, but i cant remember the apps name. maybe someone other
knows it...

Thanks for the quick reply.

I checked microsoft.com and found out it was Orca that lets you edit the
table.
Currently in the process of downloadind the Windows Installer SDK, which
includes Orca. Hope it works for me.
