good hosting company for a developer please

Hi Everybody,

I am Beny, a Canadian citizen currently working in Miami, Florida.
My background is on computers, programming and the Internet.

I am looking for a good hosting company. But I want it for me as a
developer. Which implies developments on ASP. Net, Java, Database
( both MS Access and SQL ), Shopping carts, E-commerce, etc.

That way after - only after - I fully develop my own applications
and they work 100% okay, I would then offer my services to customers
using perhaps the same company or else as hosting provider for
my customers’ sites.

Please I want something good, I will gladly pay for it.

Thanks a lot

Beny

Ever heard of Google? Type in 'web hosting' and follow the links. This is not
the place to post such an inquiry.

Hi Beny,

This is who I use: http://www.WebHost4Life.com/default.asp?refid=Spinlight
If you go with the $9.95/month plan you can develop with ASP.Net and you'll
have 300MB worth of SQL server. Your limited to creating 2 SQL server
databases. Good luck! Ken.

He is asking for a formal recommendation not a USENET lecture. If you're
going to take the time to tell him to not post here, then you should take
equal responsibility to tell him where you think it is appropriate.

I see nothing wrong with posting a general question about .NET in a
newsgroup focused on general .NET questions. General means general not
specific.

I like www.DiscountASP.net, they offer a professional, knowledgeable and
courteous staff from my experience with them.

Hello,

To perform some quick tests, I use this free trial site:
http://europe.webmatrixhosting.net/
it handles both SQLServer and Acces.

(For sure, it is not meant for productive sites. However, it allows you to
have something free for test purpose)
