Troubles in installing .NET on W2k laptop

Hi,
I tried to install Visual Studio 2003 on my laptop: I have W2k Professional
SP4.
During installation I get the following error:

....and setup cannot continue.
Can someone please help me?

P.S.: my notebook is an ACER TRAVELMATE 420, PENTIUM IV 2GH, 512 MB RAM
