Sharepoint 2001 Sharepoint2003 DotNet

Hi
we intend to develop an interface to feed SPS2003 from SPS2001 using
DotNet and SqlServer using 2 2000 servers (machines).

Questions
What would be the best choice installing the products (SPS2001 +
SqlServer Dotnet on the 1st + SPS2003 on the second ?)

In which order the products must be installed ? Any piece of advice ?

Thanks for your help

Didier
