User Control debugging

I have a User Control which I compile as a DLL and use in my
applications. Is it possible to debug the user control? I tried to put
breakpoints which seem to be ignored when debugging my application.

thanks

Include the User Control in the same Solution/ Project and use it and when

The control should move into the the User Control Code....
