Help With Crystal Reports

Hello!
I am new to Crystal Reports and I have been trying this for last 3, 4 days.
Scenario 1:
I have a strongly typed DataSet (.xsd) and I don't populate it from
Database. I have added a datatable in it... populated that DataTable and
later got a Xml file contains Xml Schema for the DataSet. I have created a
blank report (because I need to show reports based on run-time data that is
not from any DataBase). When I create an object of the Report (e.g
SampleReport rpt = new SampleReport()) and later set the xml file as its
DataSource (e.g rpt.SetDataSource(@"C:\my.xml");) it throws an Exception
that 'Error in File <filename>: Invalid Table Number'
Scenario 2:
Later I tried to include a DataTable at the begining (adding an Element and
added some columns in it to .xsd) and bound the report with that Table. It
showed the Fields I had selected in the report layout. But Later when I set
ReportSource of CrystalReportViewer to that report, it showed a Popup Dialog
for Database Login??? :S and I am lost...
