.NET & DataBase Providers

We have .NET provider from Sybase which is slower in initial testing than
the OLEDB provider from Sybase. Is anyone using .NET provider from Sybase,
DataDirect or what?

I am coming to the conclusion that no one is this group uses Sybase as a
database.

While it may be premature to write off the entire community, you may have
good results posting your questions in a Sybase-specific newsgroup as well.

Good luck,
--- Nick

I was getting no responses at the Sybase newsgroups also! Maybe Microsoft is
taking over the world!

guy
I have heard good reports about the DataDirect Provider (fast), and as the object model is virtually identical migrating to Oracle would be simplified;-)
