Found solution

I used the CreateObject function that was suggested, but had to use the GetSharedDefaultFolder method to return the calendar. Thanks for your help. Here is the working code:

dim outlook
dim mapi
dim recipient
dim folder
Set outlook = CreateObject("Outlook.Application")
Set mapi = outlook.GetNamespace("MAPI")
Set recipient = mapi.CreateRecipient(mailBoxName)
Set folder = mapi.GetSharedDefaultFolder(recipient, 9)
folder.Display
