I think our other responder was being fairly unhelpful when he assumed what
kind of machine you were using.
What do you mean by "crash"? Do you get a specific error message? Does the
IDE quit?
What type of solution are you developing (languages, technologies, stuff to
help us get a feel for it).
I've developed apps with more projects than that, and did not have problems
with VS.

You think P4 1.6GHz with 768 MB RAM is outdated?

Don't work on a solution that big or use extremely resource hogging
tasks with a slow outdated machine?

Hi, the Visual Studio ide crashes on me daily (three times so far
today and it's only 1 pm). It is the the 2003 release. The solution is
rather large, it has over 12 projects in it. I use the SQL Server 2000
Server Explorer tab quite a bit. It generally crashes when I press the
Start button/F5.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Sean.
