VS Ide crashes daily

Hi, the Visual Studio ide crashes on me daily (three times so far
today and it's only 1 pm). It is the the 2003 release. The solution is
rather large, it has over 12 projects in it. I use the SQL Server 2000
Server Explorer tab quite a bit. It generally crashes when I press the
Start button/F5.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Sean.

Don't work on a solution that big or use extremely resource hogging tasks with a slow outdated machine?

You think P4 1.6GHz with 768 MB RAM is outdated?

I think our other responder was being fairly unhelpful when he assumed what
kind of machine you were using.

What do you mean by "crash"? Do you get a specific error message? Does the
IDE quit?
What type of solution are you developing (languages, technologies, stuff to
help us get a feel for it).

I've developed apps with more projects than that, and did not have problems
with VS.

We have a solution that has 59 projects and it works fine.

Try deleting your compiler's intermediate files (.SUO is a good one)
