Directory services remove group membership

We have an application that removes group membership from all disabled
LANIDs. When the application executes using
oDirectoryEntry.Properties["member"].Remove(sdistinguishedName) a large
number of users is removed randomly form the group. This happens when the
first transaction is processed (in this case, when the app was processing
the first record, 2600 IDs were removed from the group).

If I use the invoke method
oDirectoryEntry.Invoke("Remove",new Object[]{@"LDAP://" + distinguishedName}) it works just fine. Is this a known bug in the DirectoryServices name space?
