copy project using file share not moving Word or pdf documents

I posted this to the Visual Studio group 4 days ago, but didn't get
any feedback. So, trying again b/c it presents long-term logistical
problems for our deployment strategy.

I'm currently deploying an application using the Visual Studio Copy
Project tool (via file share) to a different server. It works pretty
well, except for ONE problem. I have a folder with word and pdf
documents - they are included in the project, but do not copy over to
the target server. Is there something different about these files that
would prevent them from copying??? Yes, they are included in the
project - I've checked that several times, and even put copies in
several folders - none of them copy over. Text documents do fine
(.txt), but these other MIME types fail. Is there a setting somewhere
in Visual Studio, or is this a config setting in IIS on the servers?
